What I Am Looking For In A Planner For 2022

As a planner, I think I first fell in love with toting around a calendar planner in the 6th grade when we got our agendas on the first day of school. There was a space for each day and a notes section - something I would utilize and live by for the next 10 years through the remainder of public schooling and college.

That habit each years of getting a new planner now has me thinking about what type of planner fits me best as an adult. I have had quite a few different types over the years. Pocket sized planners, 30-minute based appointment planners, weekly planners with spaces for weekly to-do’s and reminders, the list go on.

I find out what I need from a planner as time goes on just like anything else you try in life. After years worth of paper planners (I should note I do keep a digital calendar aka google cal - this is good to keep my appointments and reminders in that are weekly or longer term), I am ready to make some decisions about what my needs are for the upcoming year of 2022!

I am looking for:

-Weekly planner with more space to write in appointments

-Space within each day to write in to-do’s that come up as well as weekly to-do’s

-Loose-leaf paper within it for misc. note taking

-Small pocket for misc. paperwork that needs action take on it

The jury is still out on if I need a space for monthly goal planning. My current planner has a space for this and it does prompt me to sit and think about goals for the upcoming 30 days, but sometimes these ideas and dreams get lost since they are tucked away in the pages of the planner.

Do you have a favorite planner you cna share with me? Happy planning!
